Congressman-Elect Dave Min Hires Steffanie Bezruki as Chief of Staff

IRVINE, CA — Today, Congressman-elect Dave Min announced that he would be hiring Steffanie Bezruki to serve as his Chief of Staff and to lead his Congressional office on Capitol Hill. Last month, Min defeated his Republican opponent to win the highly contested race for California's 47th Congressional District.

"Bezruki is a proven leader. Her strong experience and steady hand in managing staff while engaging stakeholders on Capitol Hill will be a major asset for our office as we seek to expand economic opportunity, address the housing affordability crisis, and protect the rights of women and minorities in our communities. I am looking forward to working with her to build a team that will advance my legislative priorities while also being responsive and accountable to Orange County families.”

Bezruki brings robust experience to the role from her previous positions in the House of Representatives, which include Legislative Director for Congresswoman Abby Finkenauer (IA-01) and Senior Policy Advisor to Congresswoman Cheri Bustos (IL-17), former chair of the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee (DCCC). Bezruki returns to Capitol Hill after serving nearly four years in the Biden-Harris Administration. Bezruki was Chief of Staff for Rural Development at the Department of Agriculture and most recently, Senior Advisor to Deputy Secretary of Agriculture Xochitl Torres Small. Bezruki holds a Bachelor of Science from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.

Min will be sworn into Congress on January 3, 2025, and his offices in DC and California will open to constituents early next year.
