MIN DOUBLES UP BAUGH IN FUNDRAISING IN CA-47
IRVINE, CA — Now that Scott Baugh’s fundraising numbers have been reported, it has become clear that the Dave Min for Congress campaign has once again beaten Scott Baugh and his MAGA cronies, making Min’s campaign 3 for 3 in the post-primary fundraising race in California’s 47th Congressional District, one of the most competitive races in the country. Min’s fundraising dominance was particularly notable given that he is not taking corporate PAC money, and that he raised over $1.8 million from individual donors, with more than 17,000 unique donors—including more than 14,000 new donors—pitching in. This was nearly three times the amount that Baugh raised from individual contributions.
As we head into the final three weeks of the campaign, Min’s momentum continues to grow and Baugh’s campaign continues to sputter as voters become more aware of his record of extremism and corruption.
“With 14,000 new donors and a $2 million quarter, Dave Min continues to gain strength and support as voters really get to know both candidates. The more people get to know Scott Baugh, the worse he does. Meanwhile, Min continues to crush Baugh in fundraising and on the ground, ” said Dan Driscoll, Campaign Manager at Dave Min for Congress. “While Scott Baugh and his MAGA allies will continue to try and prop up Baugh’s fledgling campaign, grassroots supporters–including 14,000 new donors–will propel the Min campaign to victory.”
